Robert Kobayashi, Artist of Whimsy, Dies at 90

In 1977, Mr. Kobayashi bought the building on Elizabeth Street housing Moe’s Meat Market, a butcher shop, and turned it into his personal gallery with whimsical displays that delighted passers-by for decades.
